Welcome.

Below you will find my itinerary of contact improvisation events. You can link to a collection of photos and a short video. You’ll also find my bio and some of my writings and interviews. There are links to contact sites and a place to subscribe to my touring schedule. You might also find some hidden easter eggs around this site.

I look forward to seeing you on a dance floor somewhere in the world.

Dance Portrait:

As I begin to curl down to the ground, you intervene, scooping me up on your hip. Now hanging off your haunches by my waist, my fingertips graze the floor. When I travel to a foreign land I encourage my habitual cultural norms to rest. The rules of engagement are different here. I seek a state where I’m tolerant, perceptive, and open minded, while maintaining some autonomy of self.
I endeavor to bring this cultural openness to each dance partner. Every person is a fragment. Each time we pilgrimage to dance with another, our place in the larger mosaic becomes more clear. When you and I rub shoulders, press torsos, lean heads, glance fingertips, we take the chance that our perceptions of the world will change.
